On The Radio – Regina Spektor

March 1st, 2012

On The Radio by Regina Spektor, Begin To Hope This is a fan-made video, obviously. And it hasn’t gotten taken down so far, so I see no need for a disclaimer [: And also, at like 0:50, the lyrics are “We tried to find some worms to aid in the decay.” I looked the lyrics up on www.elyrics.net so they lie. Sorry.

    “This is how it works
You are young until you are not
    You love until you don’t
    You try until you can’t

    You laugh until you cry
    You cry until you laugh
    And everyone must breath
    Until their dying breathe

Now this is how it works
    You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
Then try to love the things you took

And then you take that love you made
    And? stick it into some
    Someone else’s heart
    Pumping someone else’s blood”

@TheMementoMoris it doesn’t sound that hard.. just fool around with the guitar and you’ll figure it out. Also, damn, they were so good. I? listened to them a lot in 2008/9 and they fitted my mood so well. I also heard a lot of acid house kings. Check them out.
