If a potential candidate for US Senate wishes to form an exploratory committee and begin raising money, what is the “vehicle” which that candidate will establish for purposes of raising money, what are the limits in terms of contributions from individuals and others, and what are the pertinent regulatory statutes and reporting regulations with which that undeclared candidate will have to comply?
