Bern Nadette Stanis will grace The Real Deal Show (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/therealdeal) with her warm presence on Thursday, August 9th. Typically known for her role as Thelma Evens, Bern Nadette Stanis, was the strong talented sister of JJ, who showcased her eloquent dance talents on the hit show ‘Good Times’, which ran in the 70’s. The sitcom background was controversial for an African-American sitcom of its day. Stanis has a much celebrated career in Broadway as an actor and Producer of ‘Whatever Happened to Black Love’. Stanis has written a book entitled: ‘Situations 101’, about dealing with situations that occur in relationships. Stanis has appeared as a panelist and featured author during the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Stanis, a health and fitness advocate was also a featured panelist for the Tavis Smiley Road to Health. During the 60 minute segment of The Real Deal Show, Stanis will discuss her book and callers are welcome to dial-in for questions and ‘kudos’.
