It’s safe to say if your reading this then you know what will happen on the July 15 to internet radio if congress passes the royalties bill.
Their are several large campaigns to save internet radio which I will omit here in fear of violating Yahoo Answers policies, are this campaigns working?
Does anyone have the official numbers about the number of emails or phone call people are making?
Has any progress been made?
Have any congressmen official joined the save internet radio campaigns? If so, who and what states?
Are cheap and free internet radio stations going to be able to stay in the game? Of course I know they won’t if the bill passes, my question about staying in the game means will this bill be defeated?
Any word?

Though Washington is not one of the most populous states, and there is quite a bit of rural space within its borders, it has a surprisingly high rate of cell phone service subscriptions. For example, in the year 2000, Washington boasted 2,144,767 cellular phone subscribers; a number well within the average for even more populous states. That number grew quite quickly, reaching 4,418,314 by the year 2006 – over twice as many subscribers within only six years.
Furthermore, it should be considered that the population of the state of Washington in the year 2000 was 5,894,121, meaning that approximately 36 percent of the people of the state were cell phone subscribers. By 2006, when the population was 6,395,798, that percentage had grown substantially, to about 69 percent of Washington’s people. When the population grew only 8.5 percent, the number of cellular phone subscribers rose by almost 49 percent!

This is indicative of the tremendous impact that cell phone technology is having on today’s society. It is becoming quite rare for anyone not to have a cellular phone. Furthermore, the age of people who have cell phones is getting younger and younger.
