It used to be that when people would hear Washington, they would automatically think of the nation’s capital. Nowadays, Washington makes people think of the Pacific Northwest and all that region of the country has to offer. If you are thinking about relocating and your decision is not driven strictly by an employment offer, you have plenty of choices. Washington State provides a variety of benefits that range from financial to cultural to health. The area is often thought of as being ahead of the rest of the country when it comes to certain trends, but since it is not a major city with an overwhelming population size, it retains that small town feeling that people often crave. You can live in a place with a sense of community that is also forward-moving. First, you should know there are plenty of homes available in Washington State and many have undergone residential remodeling or residential additions. The Emerald City may be best known for its sense of community. While it is a cutting edge city with a reputation for being a little quirky, it is also a town where people can feel at home. While the city is not as crazy as other popular tourist destinations, it is a great destination for artists and free-thinkers who also have a more conventional side. Washington State and most of the Pacific Northwest was at the forefront of the green movement and continues to pride itself on its environmentally gentle attitude. While many of the ideas that are first tried in the area do not become nationwide solutions for conservation, the people in the Washington community are willing to give new ideas a chance. They take great pride in their natural surroundings and they work hard to protect their environment. While you may think that a lot of the green movement is about advertising and marketing and if you live in a big city it may be tough to see the effects of conserving, those in the Pacific Northwest see the impact of caring for the earth.

The region also has a strong art and cultural community. There are plenty of cities that offer museums and performing arts venues, but the Emerald City is one of those unique locations that actually put itself on the map because of its cultural scene. In the 1990′s, when grunge music was all the rage, attention was paid to the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, where a great deal of these bands got their starts.

And finally, if for no other reason to consider the Emerald City, coffee drinkers will feel as if they have found their personal nirvana. Coffee may not be a reason to relocate to a city, but if you enjoy the drink, knowing you are surrounded by some of the best cafes in the country will certainly help. Coffee is not just a drink, it is a culture and if you love the idea of spending lazy mornings sipping coffee, reading the paper and visiting with friends, this might be the city for you.

It feels great to shoot in most arm sizes, has a good-looking, streamlined look, making it an undeniable classic handgun.
