Question by MissFuneral731: How Do I stop radio station intereference with my computer speakers?
Ok. So I have a pair of Logitech speakers for my computer. I plug them into my laptop and as soon as I do I can hear a spanish Radio station. I have to blast my music to override the radio station. How can I fix this? A friend of mine also has the same set of speakers and is picking up the same radio station! LOL its kind of annoying and im not sure what to do.

If the radio station is right next door, the only answer will be to improve the screening around your laptop – talk to your nearest computer geek nicely, and take a roll of kitchen foil with you (cheap alternative to copper foil). Have you tested for this problem at more than one location?

Understand that the lion’s share of pc problems may easily be fixed even if you are not a computer expert. Keep reading this quick report for an explanation of a rapid and useful method to get rid of these errors.

Before you begin, it’s of great importance that you, as the user, learn the origin of the problem. In many, if not most cases, your windows registry comes into play – it’s in this location that windows keeps track of your activity. It keeps all records of the programs and hardware you’ve added, not to mention the links to the files that contain the ‘operation instructions’ from where to operate them. It is often the case that a broken link or damaged registry can be the cause of a 98 runtime error and many other difficulties, including your computer becoming unresponsive or freezing and .dll errors.

Several other factors in getting runtime errors are the improper loading or removal of software programs, software problems which can occur when your various applications are essentially conflicting against each other when operated at the same time, becoming contaminated by viruses and spyware, and the list continues. Again, all these can cause many troubles with links in your windows registry, thus causing your windows to come up with those annoying error messages at the very least.

There are many different routes you can take to deal with these issues; the thing is that not always do you know which program or programs, or which registry section or sections might be the source of the trouble. In that case, and especially if you are not a computer expert, you can choose from two possibilities: look for a qualified computer technician (the pricey method), or simply download a specialized registry cleaner.

A registry clean-up tool is an application which quickly searches your pc and spots a large number of widespread computer troubles; the utility not only unearths the problems, it automatically takes care of the problem and restores your computer to its maximum efficiency. So, whenever you experience , it is a good idea to download one of these applications; most them offer no-cost computer checks and fixes (within a certain limit). Now’s your chance to put a stop to this error with just a few minutes of your time.

Quickly scan and repair a 98 runtime error right now!

Joshua Bell “Stop and Hear the Music” by the Washington Post

November 1st, 2010

tinyurl.com From the Washington Post: Pearls Before Breakfast Can one of the nation’s great musicians cut through the fog of a DC rush hour? Let’s find out. By Gene Weingarten Washington Post Staff Writer Sunday, April 8, 2007; Page W10 HE EMERGED FROM THE METRO AT THE L’ENFANT PLAZA STATION AND POSITIONED HIMSELF AGAINST A WALL BESIDE A TRASH BASKET. By most measures, he was nondescript: a youngish white man in jeans, a long-sleeved T-shirt and a Washington Nationals baseball cap. From a small case, he removed a violin. Placing the open case at his feet, he shrewdly threw in a few dollars and pocket change as seed money, swiveled it to face pedestrian traffic, and began to play. It was 7:51 am on Friday, January 12, the middle of the morning rush hour. In the next 43 minutes, as the violinist performed six classical pieces, 1097 people passed by. Almost all of them were on the way to work, which meant, for almost all of them, a government job. L’Enfant Plaza is at the nucleus of federal Washington, and these were mostly mid-level bureaucrats with those indeterminate, oddly fungible titles: policy analyst, project manager, budget officer, specialist, facilitator, consultant. …for the rest of the article go to: www.washingtonpost.com
