How to play music through radio with my LG Chocolate?

September 25th, 2011

Question by SJ S: How to play music through radio with my LG Chocolate?
I can’t seem to find an adapter to play music through my car radio off my chocolate. Is there such a thing?

Best answer:

Answer by jazzypiano
I don’t think there is, or at least not that i know of. Since the LG chocolate has a spot for headphones, you can try finding a cheap audio plug that can run from your phone to maybe an “audio in” spot on your car radio or a tape player adapter if you have one.

Exhibition Showcases Atmospheric Perspectives Through The Mindset Of International Watercolor Artist David B. Goldstein

Exhibition Showcases Atmospheric Perspectives Through The Mindset Of International Watercolor Artist David B. Goldstein

Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV – Internationally recognized watercolor artist, David B. Goldstein, recently back from living in Hong Kong, reveals the largest collection of his artwork in one location. “Atmospheric Perspectives” is at the Washington Technology Park in Chantilly, Virginia from now until early April.

Of the forty-five paintings on display, some have been in juried exhibitions, some were on display in Asia, some are being shown for the first time and some are just favorites. What they all have in common is they attempt to capture the feeling of a place. The subjects for this exhibition span the globe, but focus on water related themes. They highlight Goldstein’s passion to explore how our surroundings and nature can be merged through the medium of watercolor. “I’m particularly fascinated by water and how it reflects color and light. I love to discover connections and blend objects going beyond their natural outlines to form larger shapes,” says David. “I strive to show the beauty of the world that I see and ‘how things could be’ with some enhancement.”

The Washington Technology Park is located near Dulles International Airport, but through this exhibit, you will not have to get on a plane to experience spots in Kyoto, Hanoi, Krabi, Sydney, Hong Kong, St. John, New York, or nearby Ocean City. David, whose work is admired for its subject matter which evokes a feeling of escape and adventure, has traveled the world to soak up the scenery and sensations of the most stunning places. The renowned artist comments that “art should be accessible and something you want to hang on your wall because it reminds you of your favorite experiences or an experience you want to have.”

The title “Atmospheric Perspectives” is a play on words. Atmospheric perspective, otherwise known as “aerial perspective” describes the illusion of depth where distant objects appear to be bluer and have less contrast. “Although this is a concept that I utilize to simulate distance, what is meant by the heading is simply that I strive to paint how a place feels. I try to capture the intangibles of the atmosphere and express my own perspectives of what it’s like to be somewhere special”, explains Goldstein.

David’s style has been described as “representational” with a “controlled spontaneity”. His compelling images register as emotional and geographic reference points in the minds and hearts of viewers. By invitation from the Arts Council of Fairfax as part of their “Art in the Workplace” program, this exhibit is part of a greater project to foster creativity and innovation in the workplace. More information about this program can be obtained by contacting John Dusenberry at (703) 642-0862 x6.

David is largely self taught, but has studied in the US with several prominent watercolorists and has studied Chinese painting in the style of the Lingnan School at the Hong Kong Art School. David has been quoted on ArtistNetwork.com for his unique techniques and his shows have been described in the South China Morning Post, Where, Hong Kong Magazine, The Peak Magazine, Orientations, RTHK Radio 3, The Jewish Times of Asia among others. How much of government income from taxes is wasted or stolen through bribery and corruption?

June 3rd, 2011

Question by Janaman: How much of government income from taxes is wasted or stolen through bribery and corruption?
What percentage of SA government revenue is being inappropriately spent or stolen by thugs in government in the RSA?

Today I read that a mayor in Kwazulu, who has a fast food dependency, is getting all his food paid for by the state, illegally of course. The bribery and corruption in government is absolutely disgusting.
