Understanding Radio Control Helicopters

September 15th, 2016

When you are looking at radio control helicopters, you will quickly find that they are not a generalized item. Instead, these items come in a variety of styles and sizes and can even range in the type of energy that is used to assist them in flying. What you will want to consider is that each of these items can have their own unique use to you.

Perhaps the best choice you have is the electric models. You will find that these are the ones that most people will use because they are user friendly and they will give you the chance to learn the basics of RC toys. Using a simple set of internal mechanisms, you will operate them with your remote and they tend to be very responsive. For a power source, these items will typically have a rechargeable battery that you will be able to remove from them.

Inside of the remote and the radio control helicopters, you will find two different transmitters. These transmitters will give you the chance to adjust the way that your helicopter flies and can be either a simple internal system or a more complex one on larger, more expensive units. Many RC toys have a variety of options attached to them.

These radio control helicopters will come with some different axel options on them. For example, you can have a coaxial helicopter as it will have a single rotor that has been placed on the central axis. In some cases, there may be a secondary rotor on the tail, although it typically isn’t needed.

RC toys that use a fixed pitch radio control in turn don’t have a collective servo. This means that you cannot adjust their rotor. But since they operate on fewer channels, many beginners will find that they work out well. Just note that those who are looking to have shows with their helicopters won’t be able to do many of the acrobatics that some of the more advanced models will allow them.

While you are looking over your options, you will also notice that there is a variety of choices you have, just keep in mind that these units will use a variety of controls. You may have a remote control that uses transmitters to increase speed and height while a simple unit may do nothing more than help you steer your helicopter from left to right.

That will be important to keep in mind, because there are so many different choices that radio control helicopters will provide you. Before you continue through the process, sit down and consider what you want to be able to do with your RC toys. From that point, you will be able to not only locate the perfect choice for your needs, but you will also be able to make the most of your experience as well. Just be sure that you pay close attention to quality and durability when you select any unit as this can vary as much as the price of the unit can.

Welcome to Elite RC Helicopter, inside you will discover an amazing selection of low priced and excellent quality
radio control helicopters.

Would you like to learn more about the great wines of the world — tasting wines from top regions, guided by knowledgeable wine experts?

Do you live in a region of the United States that makes pursuing systematic wine education and attending wine appreciation events difficult?

Would you like to have close instruction on wine appreciation from certified experts, in the comfort of your own home, without going to the expense of sourcing wines and paying for a live educator?

In our upcoming course, “The Essential Wines of the World,” enthusiasts from around the United States will come together in an online forum to taste some of the most important wines of the world together. Not just the same wine types, but the very same wines the instructor will discuss in detail.

Here’s how it works: When you enroll in the course, we’ll ship all the necessary wines directly to your home right away, together with 6 professional-grade, Austrian crystal Riedel wine glasses — as well as a copy of the market-leading book on wine, The Wine Bible by Karen MacNeil. We’ll also send you course materials, key reference resources, and other valuable wine information.

REGISTER AND PAY HERE NOW — OR SPEAK TO US IN PERSON AT 310 467 5582.

This innovative live seminar is designed to be a fast-paced, fun and effective kick-starter for novices and experienced wine tasters alike, to learn better methods of discerning important wines from one another, for greater personal enjoyment — or to launch a professional career as a sommelier in a high-end restaurant.

For more experienced drinkers and collectors, this will provide a highly valuable “industry insider’s” view, with many wine buying, storage and drinking tips that can enhance your enjoyment of wine and save you huge amounts of mis-spent time and money from common mistakes made by hobbyist collectors.

Course attendees will log in via laptop, tablet or computer on  Saturday afternoons this July 2014 to receive:

  • Three interactive 3-hour tasting seminars on the essentials of the world of wine.
  • 18 specific wines of importance, to cover the essential wine styles around the globe. (These wines are listed below.) For the price of one attendee, family and friends can enjoy the seminar from the comfort of your home, tasting and analyzing the wines along with the sommelier. (This can be a very fun weekly Saturday get-together for friends and families with busy work schedules.)
  • 6 tasting glasses from Riedel. (In every seminar we will taste 6 wines in direct comparison.)
  • Training by experts in blind tasting methodology—with wines of highest regional “typicity” (a concept we’ll discuss in detail in the course).
  • If you are interested in beginning a professional career as a sommelier, we will help you choose among the major certification programs, such as the Society of Wine Educators and the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, with independent advice based on your goals. We’ll help you get to know the certification pathway before committing time and money to it. Our instructor team includes graduates from all key certification programs.

After just three weeks, you’ll have a clear road map for easily navigating the complex world of wine, and you’ll be able to look forward to a future of significantly enhanced wine appreciation. You’ll learn skills and etiquette for enjoying wine in any social or business setting, and wield an impressive array of knowledge.

In addition to a binder full of valuable course materials and information (alone worth the price of admission), you’ll receive a copy of Karen MacNeil’s renowned encyclopedia of wine, The Wine Bible

Time: Three subsequent Saturdays in July, starting on July 12th at 1pm PDT, 2pm MDT, 3pm CDT. Each seminar will last 3 hours.

Cost: This three-week intensive course, including wines, glasses and course materials, is priced at 9.

Our Guarantee: If for any reason you decide during the first session that the course is not for you, we’ll gladly give you a pro-rated refund for the tuition of the remaining sessions—no hard feelings, no questions asked. You can put the wines and glasses to use entertaining friends and family, and you can keep The Wine Bible and all of the course materials and information resources as a gift from us.
