Avenue des Champs Elysees, Paris, France

The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a prestigious avenue in Paris, France. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets in the world, and with rents as high as €1.1 million (USD1.5 million) annually per 1,100 square feet (92.9 square metres) of space, it remains the most expensive strip of real estate in Europe. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology.

FM and other antennas bristle from the top of the Prudential Building. From Wikipedia: "The top mounted mast contains two FM master antennas and a top mount television antenna. The top mount television antenna is for WBPX. The upper master antenna was manufactured by Electronics Research, Inc. (ERI) and has WZLX 100.7, WBCN 104.1, WMJX 106.7, and WXKS 107.9. The lower master antenna was installed in the late 90’s ,also by Electronics Reasearch, Inc. and has the signals of WBOS 92.9, WTKK 96.9 , and WROR 105.7. All of the FM stations transmit roughly 22,000 watts ERP and in HD Radio." By the way, WBPX, now on Channel 68, will move to Channel 32 when it goes all-digital next February, and will transmit from a tower in Needham. This top mast will then go idle.
