The only way out of this mess was to get money moving again, and thats just what Obama is trying to do. So yes or great great grandchildren MIGHT be in debt, but that is not at all Obama;s fault. CHECK YOUR HISTORY BEFORE OPENING YOUR MOUTH!

  6. walyern says:

Actually is started with Reagon who de-regulated everything allowing corperations to do whatever they want (and they did). Then Clinton missed some opertunities to fix the problem (but this could be very well due to the fact that Clinton had to deal with a Republican controled congress who thought is was more important to meddle in the presidents personal life rather than fix our future). Then W completely ruined our economy by allowing companies to break even more laws.

You are a douche bag. When Luke Russert takes a dump and flushes the toilet, I hope it lands on your head.

  11. naizret says:

Well, for one thing, unlike Tim Russert, I’m not likely to be mistaken for a compost pile anytime soon.

  12. DreamerM says:

    Fuck you.

You throw sarcasm in the face of a 22-year-old who loved his father and spoke about it, eloquently and powerfully. He’s a credit to his family and his father’s single greatest achievement.

Who would speak for you so powerfully? What have you accomplished that would bring people from around the country to celebrate your life and mourn your loss?

  13. naizret says:

Even as Tim is slowly dissolving into mulch, we can rejoice that the greatest gift he and Maureen could give the world–the luminous Luke Russert–still walks among us, performing miracles and conferring grace on all with whom he comes in contact. Like Barack, the blessing of Luke Russert on our hurting world is a gift from God.

I just saw Springsteen in concert and thought of Tim. The elections weren’t the same without him. He’s a great journalist and there aren’t that many of him left. Luke is an amazing young man with his pose and character. Tim thought him well.

  16. goaqys says:

Tim Russert was a true original. I never knew him personally, but it seems like I did. He spoke the truth and demanded the truth. What an amazing man. We miss you Tim!!! You were a voice for so many. May God be with his friends and family.

  17. MajinDrHuxtable says:

I can’t imagine having such composure. The only time you could see any hint of sadness was once he was finished.

Some day, when my father dies, I want to be that strong.

  18. veelighted7 says:

you are insensitive, this young man is paying respect to his father who has just passed!!! and he is NOT an idiot! he’s nice kid. Please, be nicer, didn’t your parents teach you anything???

I hope you realize becz the world needs more kindness, nor jerks

  19. stsstillwater says:

    what a idiot

  20. veelighted7 says:

what a brave young man, you can see the pain in his face after he’s finished…what a great job his parents did. Handsome young man too.
I love how they love they their faith.

  22. AlanKeyesForPrez08 says:

Here’s to Tim Russert and to the great legacy of love, and honor carried on by his son Luke. What a strong young man to have given this speech so soon after his father’s passing. It must have been so difficult.

  23. mrmovie1803 says:

    What a great son.

  24. 911insidejo8 says:

And while I’m at it, how nice that his piglet son got a job at msnbc to continue the mainstream media gatekeeping job that has helped enslave America.

To America and the world: After the revolution when many of our families, friends and communities have been killed, let’s not forget all these 2-faced phony talking head media/politician types who were happy to play along with this shit because they were so confident they’d be taken care of.

  25. 911insidejo8 says:

You’re delusional, Tim Russert was a mainstream media gatekeeper who could have blown the whistle or voiced his opinion about the govt selling out of the US. Instead he collected a $5 million a year paycheck, asked softball questions and kept his mouth shut as a paid off member of the establishment. For years he smiled at us and insisted everything is okay all the while knowing better.

So if anyone deserves brutal nasty remarks posthumous, I’d say Russert is a fine candidate.
