  1. who knows? says:

If you’re staying with family, and not in a hotel, then $ 700 should suffice.

Drink prices vary, depending on what part of town you’re going into, and what time of day. A beer can cost $ 2.50 to $ 6.00 depending on when and where you are.

Make sure you’re budgeting in for dining out and souvenirs, the little things add up.

    Have a great trip!

Let’s think about it this way. Okay, here we go-

    -Price of air fare [$ 600-$ 800]
-Price of various other transportation uses (taxi, tour bus, etc) [$ 150-$ 200]
-Price of admission to monuments/historic landmarks that you’ll be visiting [$ 350-$ 450]
-Price of hotel [$ 50-$ 100 PER NIGHT]
-Price of food [$ 5-$ 10 PER MEAL]
    -Price of souvenirs [$ 20-$ 75]

All of these factors pertaining to your amount of spending money in DC must be considered.

I hope that my answer was helpful. =)
