@TheologianZ The word he said was Erodes. Meaning to slowly destroy or eat away at.
can you please tell me the words spoken from 00:55 – 01:00. I could not find the right word, “Nothin…. that ______ the rule of law can be moral…” —- Is it ruins? Thank you.

One of the most inspirational movies I’ve ever seen.
Bravo! One of the most inspiring movie i have ever seen….
I think quality of debate is the most important thing. There should be fine difference between debate and horse-trading. In todays debates in Washington, DC there is no such thing called sense. It is just horse-trading. If need any evidence then watch John Boehener, Steve King and Mitch Mcconell of republican party debating about Health Care reform.
Its not the media’s fault. We forget there was a media when MLK marched & Malcolm spoke. What happened is the marches stopped. The speeches stopped. The influent of our community decided to make our heros gangsters in Hood movies. Profit. Nobody has never done anything for us as a people. We did it ourselves. And until we get back to that notion, nothing will change. “We The People” have to do it.
Amazing film, all there is to it!
xD
sorry to have a dystopian attitude, but i can’t see that happening, the human race needs things to divide it, most of all the USA, it needs an enemy to support its vast armed forces, therefore i can’t see a future where the human race lives harmoniously.
Those new movies/TV serials will help understand that Blacks are also greatest people on the planet. Blacks are associated with criminal, street killers, loose tempered, yelling human being. This image/perception of blacks should be changed from the mind of people.
I think media plays a great role to present Blacks as negative, looser, ugly, violent and something which people automatically start dislike. One moved to America first time and right on Airport when he looked at black man working, he turned negative and went angry. He said that he watched some movies in home country and he learned that blacks in NYC are gangsters, criminals etc. Actually we need a range of new movies where Blacks should be in hero image and others should be in negative
@rashadelliott it is indeed. but i always confort myself knowing that the day will come when everyone is treated equally regardless of their race, sexual orientation, gender, religion, etc. i pray for it to be a reality everyday, and i know, with immediate happiness that god is listening. we just have to be patient.
Upvoted, the reason why is obvious.
great movie
One of the main reasons I think racism still goes on today is because we “african americans” allow it to continue. I always here co workers make the comment, ” leave it in the past and forget about it.” Oh really? I want to smack the hell out of every white person that I see whenever I hear these type of remarks…
Everytime I watch a film like this I always end up happy and entertained, but also pissed off. To see the way my ancestors were treated and the way we are still treated today just doesn’t make any sense. I want to become violent, but I know that will not solve anything. Just to think that many people out in the world think that they are better than another just because of the color of their skin is very very sad and STUPID!!!!
wow…. well said
Oh I knew whatever I was writing was out of point but I just wrote it because suddenly race card example popped up in my mind. I know that this debate is much more than the race card. Funny enough, I was trying to correlate the Hanry Jr Gates case with this debate.
