I have a home in Washington that I would like to rent out. I have been told that Washington has specific guidelines for a home to become a rental, eg. gfci, blind cords, etc. I don’t know where to get the list so that I can get the house ready to rent.

Your best bet will be to check with the county officials, probably the building inspector. It’s VERY likely each county has requirements that must be met, besides those required under state law.
